Poultney Pub is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our team; someone who can handle station prep, produce menu items to order, ensure quality and consistency, maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphere. If you're ready to be a key player in our kitchen, we want to hear from you.
This is a full time, year round position that requires Friday and Saturday availability. The ideal candidate will be reliable, focused, and work with a sense of urgency. Cooking experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a driven, eager individual with culinary interest. Pay based on experience.
To be considered for this position applicants must:
Be capable of following directions, receiving constructive feedback, and adjusting as needed
Have access to reliable transportation
Have the ability to stand for extended periods of time
Be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Have the ability to consistently work in a hot and noisy environment
Be available to work as late as 11pm regularly
