Work alongside our cook to prepare and serve healthy school lunches at the Baird School in Burlington, VT. Enjoy part time, academic-day hours in this seasonal position (September to June).
The Baird School provides an alternative educational environment for children ages 5-14 (grades K-8) whose needs cannot be met in a regular educational environment due to social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
Set up and break down for the lunchroom
Place orders for school breakfast and lunch
Safely handle food and maintain cleanliness of kitchen
Prepare and serve food
Restock salad bar
Label and put away left over food
Pick-up food at Champlain School (driving required)
Requirements:
Pass a background check including fingerprinting
Valid Driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
Structure:
Part time (15 hours per week)
Starting at $20.00 an hour
