Vermont Tortilla Company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. Hours for the role are approximately 8:30 to 1:30 Mon-Fri. This role focuses on masa handling and feeding with an emphasis on quality control. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a hot and occasionally noisy production environment. We are willing to train the right candidate, so previous experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and feed masa into production machines with precision and care.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.
- Assist with various tasks on the production floor as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth production processes.
Requirements:
- Ability to tolerate hot environments and noise on the production floor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on the job.
- Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to assist where needed.
