August First, an artisan bakery with strong community connections in Burlington, Vermont, is seeking a dedicated and experienced pastry baker to join our team. August First bakery is where the production of pastries and bread for the fast-casual August First cafe takes place. We are responsible for the production of fresh and delicious bread that is used on sandwiches in the cafe and sold wholesale in several local grocery stores. We also create the pastries offered at the counter in August First cafe, including croissants, cookies, scones, fresh fruit turnovers, and biscuits. At August First we are dedicated to creating delicious and locally sourced food and drink and inspiring merriment in a warm and welcoming environment.
