Peace Burger is looking for cashiers and line cooks to join our growing team. We are a new fast-food concept that recently launched in Waitsfield, and make some of the best smashburgers Vermont has to offer. We are located in Afterthoughts bar, above the Valley Meade Dispensary, and are working hard tocreatea new community hub with food, music, and good times! We’re looking for folks to join our team who have a passion for food, and want to be part of one of the fastest growing hotspots in the valley. Candidates should be able to bring a positive attitude to the work environment, learn new tasks with ease, and be fairly flexible. We are looking for people who enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Cashier: You should be a people person, and look forward to your interactions with other humans. We are looking for folks who are dedicated to giving an amazing customer service experience that is on brand for Peace Burger. POS experience (especially Toast) is a plus, as well as experiencehandling cash!
Line Cook: Ideally you would have some experience working in a professional kitchen, however we are willing to train the right candidate. The most important aspect of this position is that you have a passion for food, and an excitement to learn. Additionally candidates should have an attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Compensation:
Cashier: $10/hour + tips (including tips between $20-$25/hour)
Line Cook: $15/hour + tips with experience, (including tips between $25-$30/hour)

Although we recently launched our brick and mortar location, Peace Burger is quickly becoming well known as having some of the best burgers and fries in Vermont. We have big plans for the future, and there is definitely room for growth within the company as we grow ourselves.
