Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery is seeking a friendly and outgoing person to provide the best customer service for our customers. We are a high volume fast pace restaurant. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available. Must be available to work both day and night shifts, weekends and holidays. Prior experience as a server and serving cocktails/beer/wine is a requirement. Must be 21 years or older. Must have or obtain a valid First Class Vermont Liquor Certification Certificate as required by the Vermont Department of Liquor Control in order to serve alcoholic beverages. Knowledge and enthusiasm about craft beer is a big plus.
Responsibilities Include:
Greets all guests timely with enthusiasm and friendliness.
Provide customers with the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
Guide customer through our beer list with vast knowledge of craft beer styles
Serve alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company and state standards.
Guide guests through our menu and assist with making selections
Take food orders and deliver items to tables in a timely manner
Complete side work before, during and after ones shift
Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
Performs duties as assigned by management.
Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
