We have a rare opening for a dental assistant in our modern dental practice. We have 2 full time doctors and are looking for someone to join our team starting as soon as possible
Experience: Prior Dental Assisting required
Education: At least a high school degree
Responsibilities include:
Assisting dentist with procedures, including fillings, crowns, root canals, implants, extractions, and more
Seating patients in timely manner and making them feel comfortable and welcome in the office
Making and confirming patient appointments
Communicating with patients over the phone, in person, and in writing
Assisting dentist with procedures by passing dental instruments, setting up rooms for procedures
Managing the status of dental cases sent out to the laboratory – regular communication, tracking, organizing, and following up
Taking x-rays
Assist with the cleaning of patient rooms
May also involve collecting payments, correspondence with insurance companies, reviewing treatment plans with patients, emailing and tracking referral cases
Skills / Personality Traits:
Computer literacy
Familiar with Dentrix preferred
Organized and detail oriented
Able to take direction
Comfortable with fast-paced professional environment
Must be friendly and polite
Compensation & Benefits: $18-$22 / hour, commensurate with experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 to $22.00 /hour
