You've considered (or are in) private practice but marketing, worrying about self-employment taxes, and being all on your own is NOT for you.
You'd really love to find a private practice where you made a sustainable wage that really worked for you– but even more than that– you'd like to feel that you were a part of a truly awesome community of practitioners who share your approach to therapy as undoing systemic harm and helping your clients to get free. We are looking to hire a therapist who integrates the body into the work that you do. Some examples of body-mind training that we highly value include Somatic Experiencing, AEDP, EMDR, Generative Somatics, and Brainspotting.
You are trans and queer-competent and celebrating, an unabashed intersectional feminist, grounded, have good boundaries, and are able to gradually onboard a full-time caseload (23 clinical hours/week) with your ideal client population. (We are starting a waiting list with our current clinician that you will pull from.)
You don’t need to live in VT, just have an active “Interim Telehealth Registration” with the VT Office of Professional Regulation. (It’s super easy to get!)
