Move in/Start date: asap. An engaging elderly gentleman with developmental disabilities (also in a wheelchair), is seeking a caring, responsible Housemate/Caregiver. Two additional Housemate/Caregivers (one male, one female) also support him in his 4-bedroom home which is a short walk to downtown Burlington. We are looking to fill the third live-in support position. Conscientious, caring, and neat housemates, great location. Looking for good sense of humor, good communication skills, patience, and comfort with learning some personal care/medical needs. Full paid training provided. Resume, references, background checks. Details: Position requires covering 2 asleep overnights per week (possibly Mon and Wed 9p-7am) and a rotating Friday overnight every 3 weeks, plus some paid awake hours (Currently Tues, Wed, Thurs 7a-noon and Saturdays 10a-4p). Awake hours are paid (starting rate is $12.25/hr). More hours with this client (and others) may be available as well if desired. House has a friendly cat.
Rent free, pay one-quarter of utilities only, and split costs of shared items.
