We are in search of a Respite Care Provider and Day Program Provider, to provide care for 2 kind and pleasant persons with disabilities in your home or ours.
A Respite Care Provider will work independently with either 1 or 2 persons at a time.
A Day Program Provider will cover about 20-25 hours a week, supporting 1 client with community activities that vary and can include going to a resource center for arts and crafts, walks, shopping, movies, the pool, bowling and lunch outings.
A Respite Providers duties vary and include companionship, light personal care, administering meds, serving meals and low-key outings.
The right person will be have a positive attitude and be reliable. They also, must engage clients, be attentive, and have the ability to carry out daily responsibilities and complete all tasks by the end of a shift.
This position will cover 3 or 4 days consecutively/overnight weekends that amount to approximately, 8 to 9 weekends a year. It will also cover a 2 week/overnight vacation in the summer.
These positions will start immediately.
These are year round positions with a generous pay of $225. per/person, per/nite, per /24 hour period for Respite and $25 per hour for the Day Provider position.
Candidates must be a non smoker and have a clear background check.
