A Field Worker will be a strong, reliable candidate who is able to complete tasks while working with a team or on their own. Duties will include transplanting, mulching, mowing, setting up and checking irrigation, walking fields to check for pests/fungus, trimming, harvesting, and processing; this is not an exhaustive list of duties. Candidate must be able to lift 50lbs and work outside in varying weather for extended hours.
Previous experience is not required, but a strong desire to learn and attention to detail is a must. Candidate must have a reliable means of transportation. This is a great opportunity to learn more about cultivating hemp and farming in Vermont.
Job Type: Seasonal, but potential to grow for the right person.
Fields are located in the Rutland, Castleton, Fair Haven area.
