We're a growing remodeling firm seeking a skilled and motivated craftsperson who could lead a helper to join our team! We specialize in custom residential renovations, focusing on bathrooms, kitchens, and various interior projects. However we also do decks and exterior work on occasion.
What you'll be doing:
Lead or assist with all aspects of remodeling projects, including:
Custom floor tile and shower work
High-end bathroom remodeling
Cabinet installations
Custom woodwork
Door installations
Drywall work
Exterior decking
Demolition
Surface prep
Light electrical and plumbing
Painting
Trim work
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 8 years experience in the trades. This position requires a complete resume outlining your experience.
Experience in the following: tile work, carpentry/trim work, sheetrock/finishing, demolition. General understanding of light plumbing, and light electrical. General knowledge of building codes.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs) and work comfortably on ladders
Basic carpentry/remodeling hand tools (tape measure, screwdriver, cordless drill/driver, speed square, hammer, pry tools, etc.)
Reliable transportation to job sites in southern Chittenden County
Dependability, trustworthiness, respectfulness, and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently or lead others on projects will be reflected in pay rate.
