We have a 2-day per week duck caregiver position available on our mountain farm, sanctuary, and wildlife refuge, starting March 7.
3 month minimum commitment preferred, days range from 8-10 hours each. Starting pay for training is $16 per hour, and rises quickly as proficiency and reliability are demonstrated, with pay topping at $21/hour for those who demonstrate reliability and excellence. You will be fully trained and given ongoing feedback and a 3-week review.
Qualifications include an open spirit toward the ducks, a commitment to reliability, and attention to detail. The job is physical, and applicants must be fit and able to lift 50#s on occasion.
