Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Roofing Laborer. As a crucial member of our crew, you will assist in various tasks related to roofing installations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. However, previous experience in construction or roofing is not required – a positive attitude and strong work ethic are the primary requirements. Candidate is able to begin work immediately (3/25).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of roofing materials and equipment.
- Transport materials to and from the work area.
- Assist with the installation of roofing systems.
- Clean and prepare work areas, ensuring they are free of debris and hazards.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.
Requirements
- Comfortable being supported by ropes and associated safety equipment while working from heights.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
