OverviewThe Room Repair Person will assist with basic maintenance requests and performing systematic room maintenance tasks and check lists to include but not limited to: Ensure all room bathroom sinks and drains are working and free of clogsEnsure all lights and fixture are in working order and replace light bulbs as neededEnsure room televisions and remotes are in working orderAssemble, adjust, secure and tighten various appliances, knobs, fixtures and furnitureEnsure all room phones are in working orderEnsure all heat or air conditioning units are workingRepair, hang, install shades and curtains as neededAssist in minor painting, spackling, caulking, and wall paper repair or preplacement as neededAssist Maintenance team with snow and ice clearing and removal as needed This position will report to the Executive Housekeeper with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director of Engineering. This position is a full-time year-round opportunity, Monday–Friday; 7:00-3:30 PM or 8:00-4:30 PM shift.ResponsibilitiesThe ability to read and understand English.The ability to use a Maintenance Software program to track maintenance requests.The ability to use a radio for clear communication.The ability to follow instructions and to start and complete tasks in an efficient manner.The ability to work independently.Experience in completing maintenance tasks strongly preferred.The ability to use hand toolsThe ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is requiredPI237815747 Apply
