OverviewThe Room Repair Person will assist with basic maintenance requests and performing systematic room maintenance tasks and check lists to include but not limited to: Ensure all room bathroom sinks and drains are working and free of clogs Ensure all lights and fixture are in working order and replace light bulbs as needed Ensure room televisions and remotes are in working order Assemble, adjust, secure and tighten various appliances, knobs, fixtures and furniture Ensure all room phones are in working order Ensure all heat or air conditioning units are working Repair, hang, install shades and curtains as needed Assist in minor painting, spackling, caulking, and wall paper repair or preplacement as needed Assist Maintenance team with snow and ice clearing and removal as needed This position will report to the Executive Housekeeper with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director of Engineering. This position is a full-time year-round opportunity, Monday–Friday; 7:00-3:30 PM or 8:00-4:30 PM shift.Responsibilities The ability to read and understand English. The ability to use a Maintenance Software program to track maintenance requests. The ability to use a radio for clear communication. The ability to follow instructions and to start and complete tasks in an efficient manner. The ability to work independently. Experience in completing maintenance tasks strongly preferred.
