OVERVIEW: The Marketing Coordinator is a driving force for the voice and face of Hearthstone. He/she applies creativity and strategic engagement across a range of interconnected promotional functions. The Marketing Coordinator manages and develops the flow of product campaigns and works to better build on our established brand recognition. Through engaging and effective communication with consumers, product partners, and staff this dynamic position co-creates and coordinates all company marketing efforts, strategies, and tactics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate all company marketing efforts- lead in building brand and consumer awareness about our company and the excellence of our products; drive qualified traffic to our website and/or dealers

• Develop and deploy successful marketing campaigns - owning their implementation from ideation to execution to evaluation

• Analyze consumer behavior and trends, adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly

• Create and manage all digital marketing efforts- Actively maintain and leverage a variety of organic and paid user acquisition channels to communicate relevant campaigns and topics- including upcoming events, promotions, products development news & launches, etc.

• Utilize proven as well as innovative strategies in content creation and curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media postings, lead generation, copywriting, performance analysis, and emerging communication platforms

• Produce and/or coordinate valuable and engaging copy and video content for our website and social media, including Facebook, Instagram, You-Tube and a company blog designed to attract and educate potential buyers toward choosing a HearthStone product.

• Drive progression of positive consumer reviews, photo’s, & customer engagement (esp. for outdoor products) across various social media platform

• Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights and assess against goals.

• Collaborate with management/sales group to gain insights and best develop fresh marketing initiatives

• Assist in the design of promotional programs that combine advertising with purchasing incentives- such as discounts, samples, gifts, rebates, coupons, sweepstakes, or contests.

• Coordinate the creation of in-store displays to target customers- including POP items, product endorsements, special events announcements, and highlighting of accessory products

• Assist in managing industry trade shows and represent HearthStone as needed – including scheduling/staffing of our mobile product trailer, and participation in relevant public events

• Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed- particularly in support of sales team activity

• Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.

• Assist and be able to create marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures.

• Holds demonstrable and broad Marketing experience coupled with the potential and attitude to learn

• Disposed to think/act creatively and innovatively with a strong sense of aesthetics

• Notably fluid in various forms of communication, including: articulating important information, writing of promotional copy, report preparation, and corresponding with stakeholders

• Inclined and able to build a broad knowledge of company product lines, as well as an understanding of the needs and concerns of HearthStone’s customers and product partners

• Experienced in leading strategic marketing campaigns – from conducting target research and identifying audiences, to creatively devising and managing campaigns across multiple channels that engage, educate and motivate potential buyers to connect with our brand

• Strongly analytical in skills related to forecasting, identifying relevant trends, and navigating challenges

• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement; familiarity with emerging and proven tools, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, dissemination, etc.

• Possessive of a solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)

• Experienced in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns

• Comfortable with various computer applications, including Microsoft Office and appropriate design software used in creating/managing promotional design and content

• Accomplished in organization and task follow-through, seeing multiple priorities and details to satisfactory completion

• Able to maintain a flexible schedule that may include shift adjustments and/or extended hours into evening or occasional weekends

• Well practiced in proficiently creating and managing budgets

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Marketing or related field with at least six-years of experience in a marketing role; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is subject to long periods of sitting, frequent computer keyboarding, and extensive correspondence with various parties. Occasional weekend and travel work is necessary- may be unaccompanied. Responsibilities are primarily managed independently, yet include frequent cooperation and active teamwork with consistent communications
