Requirements and desirable traits:
- Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
- Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to details
- Strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, on time, positive attitude, works well with others
- Takes initiative and is a team player
- Ability to work night shift if needed
While no industry experience is required, any of these skills and experiences are preferred:
Preventative maintenance, technology maintenance, maintenance technician, field service engineer, manufacturing technician, HVAC experience, automotive, electrical and electronic engineering technology skills, electromechanical engineering skills, aviation maintenance experience, industrial machinery mechanic experience, diesel mechanics experience, marine mechanic experience, chemical industry experience, semiconductor manufacturing, nuclear mechanic, construction worker, vacuum and abatement, basic hand tools, oscilloscope, digital multimeter, torque wrench.
