Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Material Handlers for our client a locally based, food grade Fortune 500 manufacturer.
Various shifts available, starting pay is $17 and ranges up to $18.50 based on shift.
The Material Handler performs a variety of warehouse related duties including, but not limited to, loading, unloading and moving materials in and around the warehouse.
Position Responsibilities
1. Load route trucks and semi-trailers with propane or battery-operated forklift and/or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse.
2. Move product to storage areas using the proper equipment.
3. Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area according to established sequences and procedures.
4. Jockey or move trailers around the outside yard to facilitate loading and unloading of products and materials.
5. Document all material transfers, shipments and movements electronically and/or on appropriate forms.
6. Ensure items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
7. Review orders for shipment and assemble the correct types of merchandise to be shipped.
8. Need experience with ride on forklifts and pallet jack. 40 hours training per type and Certification for both will be provided.
9. Competency in hand held scanner transactions preferred
10. Maintain cleanliness in assigned area.
11. Must be able to pass background and pre-employment drug screenings
