Production Assembler Role: Perform Electronic and Mechanical assembly tasks. This job description does not limit individuals to a single task but requires them to perform different duties related to end-product development, such as aligning and connecting product parts, as and when required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

Reading and understanding mechanical & electrical prints.

Read bills of material.

Follow assembly process instructions.

Build off an assembly print/drawing.

Testing the sub-assemblies and the completed final assemblies using the proper test equipment.

The ability to operate hand tools to ensure parts of the product are assembled properly. Will include but not limited to: cordless screwdrivers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, crimping tools, torque wrenches, pliers, measurement tools, wire strippers, cutters, soldering iron and other electrical tools.

Keep work stations orderly, storing & maintaining the tools, parts, test equipment and documentation, etc.

Shall be accountable for quality and self-inspection of work performed.

Shall practice safe work habits by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations set by the safety committee.

All other items as assigned by supervisor.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have good vision with or without the aid of vision correction.

Good hand-eye coordination and excellent fine motor skills for assembling parts.

Ability to read, comprehend and follow written directions and diagrams

Eagerness to learn as we will train the right candidate all of the skills needed to be successful in the role

Capable of working with small, detailed components.

Able to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy.

Able to follow verbal instructions.

Able to communicate effectively and relate to co-workers.

Be a team player and work with anyone in a team environment.
