SUMMARY: The Production Associate is responsible for the production of books, puzzles, framed and unframed prints and other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager
Job Duties include:
Operating manufacturing equipment
o Puzzle printing and breakdown
o Hard book cover maker
o High End Commercial printers
o Other bindery equipment as required
Maintaining compliance with Subatomic Digital’s high standards of quality products
Assistance in the shipping department as required.
Engagement with the team to understand business initiatives to improve delivery, quality, safety and improve costs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong mechanical aptitude of production operations; with a preference of some manufacturing experience.
Ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve. Self-motivated team player who models appropriate communication and behavior among each another.
Ability to get along with others, be punctual, demonstrate satisfactory attendance, and follow instructions from others.
Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment
Basic computer knowledge
Basic mathematical skills
REPORTS TO: This position will report directly to and takes direction from the Production Team Supervisor
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct reports.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday with Weekends required November and December
