At Abacus Automation, we design and build custom machines for various industries. Each job brings new life and excitement to the floor. The shipper/receiver handles all the incoming components for the machines and then packages/palletizes the completed machines prior to shipment. Outgoing shipments include spare parts ordered by customers.
Job Description:
Execute and document incoming and outgoing shipments
Manage stock room and staging of work orders
Construct machine shipping skids and crates
Perform building maintenance as instructed by Management
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or higher
Candidate is preferred to have at least one year of experience in shipping and receiving
Ability to work as a team, with good communication skills, among fellow employees, as well as with customers
Some travel is needed; a valid driver’s license is required
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
