RETAIL STORE MANAGER:
We are looking for an experienced manager to help us open our first store in Burlington, Vermont. This exciting opportunity is full-time (40 hours per week) and provides great benefits: 100%-paid medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with a company match, 15 days of paid time off per year and a ski pass. We provide salaried pay plus bonus opportunity.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Store operations including hiring great staff, inventory management, sell-through and replenishment of merchandise, opening and closing, and overall store management
In-store merchandising and maintaining store appearance, including campaign execution, for effective visual appeal
Expert customer service and excellent representation of Helly Hansen toward customers, business partners, and employees
Assuming a leadership role within the team and ensuring company standards are upheld
Assisting customers with purchases, returns, and warranty claims
Answering questions about performance and technical aspects of our products
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
The ability to provide the highest level of customer service to a diverse clientele and ensure that the customer experience is always outstanding.
3+ years of retail store experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably in the sporting goods or outdoor apparel industry
The ability to work evenings, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasionally powder days
Intrinsic self-motivation and the drive to succeed
Excellent communication skills
Computer proficiency
A passion for the outdoors
The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
A history of thriving in a fast-paced sales environment while continuing to provide a high level customer experience to multiple clients and training team members to the best of their ability
