Cabot Creamery has a full-time immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician. Flexible work schedule required, including rotating weekends, and working scheduled holidays.
This position will perform laboratory tests on finished products, plant samples and ingredients in a timely and accurate manner to assure that Agri-Mark quality standards are met. Must be able to become certified by the State of Vermont to perform all testing associated with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.
Associates or Bachelor Degree in science or math preferred, and at least two years related experience is preferred. We are seeking an individual who possesses strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively multi-task and meet project deadlines. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite are essential. Must have mature judgment abilities as well as the ability to mentor other Lab Technicians. Work flexibility is a must.
