Gymnastics Coaches & Program Directors

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coaches and Program Directors (coaching included) to join our exciting team of instructors and staff. The ideal candidates will have a passion for gymnastics and a strong ability to inspire and educate young athletes. This role involves coaching students from pre-school to school age, promoting physical fitness and ensuring a mentally, physically and emotionally safe and supportive training environment.

Duties for coaches and directors:

Follow pre-set lesson plans with the confidence and knowledge to tailor to the needs of individual students and varying class levels.

Instruct students in a range of gymnastics techniques, including tumbling, balance beam, bars, vaulting, trampoline and floor skills.

Monitor student progress via iclass Pro (software) skill testing and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.

Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing gym rules and regulations.

Provide behavior management techniques to maintain a positive training atmosphere.

Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure positive gym flow throughout each night.

Educate students on the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline.

Maintain equipment and facilities in a clean and safe condition.

USA Gymnastics membership is required, online training courses provided.

On-site gym training is available.

Additional duties for Program Directors:

Manage gym flow and create monthly gym schedules.

Manage staff scheduling.

Manage new and current staff training.

Organize end of season shows/awards.

Organize future schedules for upcoming classes and summer camps.

Offer creative ideas and inspiration to grow our programs for the community.

Experience

Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or instructor is preferred.

Skills in related areas such as dance, cheerleading or physical education are highly desirable.

Experience working with students in an educational or athletic setting is beneficial.

Certifications in first aid are a plus.

A background in physical activities can enhance coaching effectiveness.

Coaching Position: Part-time, expected 10-18 hours per week

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Program Director Position: Part-time, expected 12-24 hours per week

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
