Join Our Team as a Mobile Field Technician
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working independently, traveling to new places, and making a direct impact? We're looking for a dedicated Mobile Field Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in delivering top-quality service by installing, testing, and maintaining equipment in vehicles at customer sites and company locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to customer locations and company sites to perform installations and service work
Install, test, and troubleshoot vehicle-based equipment
Perform basic repairs and ensure functionality of all installed components
Accurately follow installation manuals or receive in-person installation guidance
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers regarding installation progress or concerns
Collaborate closely with dispatchers, supervisors, and fellow technicians to ensure timely service delivery
Maintain precise and timely data entry of work completed into the company’s management system
Take responsibility for company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicles
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics or a related technical field
1+ year of experience in a technical service or installation role
Basic knowledge of electrical systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
Efficient with computer systems and software including Windows and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Willingness to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies
