Looking for ideally a fully or partly skilled carpenter/remodeler or motived individual with basic skills ready to learn for remodeling projects mostly around the Shelburne, Charlotte, South Burlington, Williston areas. We would be happy to train an individual with the interest, aptitude and drive to learn. We are a small remodeling firm that performs primarily custom residential remodeling of bathrooms, kitchens and all sorts of mostly interior renovations however deck and exterior projects too. Custom tile work and showers, higher end bathroom remodeling, cabinet installations, custom woodwork, door installations, drywall work, and exterior decking work. Demolition, surface prep, tile setting, light electrical and plumbing, painting, trim work are all typical work items of the day.
You would be hired as an employee and not a 1099 sub so you will be on payroll, can be paid by direct deposit into your bank account, will be covered by workman's compensation benefits and get paid time off. We use phone apps that give you access to all your pay information and time tracking of your work hours. You will clock in and out through your phone under a job name. No need to submit your weekly hours, it's done automatically.
We allow for flexible hours to accommodate your family life. We understand, we have families too. As long as you are an excellent communicator as to what your personal schedule needs are, we allow almost complete flexibility of your work schedule, and we pay well.

Skills in tile work, carpentry, sheetrock/finishing, demolition, light plumbing and light electrical all a bonus. Heavy lifting (80 lbs) and some ladder work are common so you must be capable. All ages and genders are welcome
Minimum Requirements-
-Have basic carpentry/remodeling hand tools (tape measure, screwdriver, cordless drill/driver, speed square, hammer, pry tools) and a cell phone
-Have your own transportation to get to job sites mostly around southern Chittenden county.
-Must be dependable, trustworthy, respectful and a good communicator with co-workers/customers.
