Belden Construction, LLC, based in Rutland, Vermont, is a prominent civil construction company specializing in local construction projects. The company is dedicated to safety, quality, and maintaining a modern fleet of equipment.
Role Overview:
The Crane Operator will be operating a 60 Ton and 135 Ton wheeled crane on various construction sites, ensuring efficient and safe handling of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
Operate wheeled cranes safely on construction sites.
Lift, position, and place equipment or materials as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the crane.
Comply with company, federal, and state safety standards.
Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members for efficient workflow.
Adhere to lift plans and signal instructions from riggers.
Understand and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience operating similar heavy equipment.
Commercial drivers license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications such as NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) or equivalent.
OSHA certification for crane operation.
Familiarity with rigging and hoisting procedures.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
