Seeking a full-time hands-on maintenance person/caretaker to help maintain an award winning hotel resort in Manchester Vermont. This family run property includes 2 historic mansions, 6 buildings from the 1960s, an indoor and outdoor pool and acres of lawns and gardens.
We are looking for a creative problem solver with a range of maintenance skills including carpentry, construction, plumbing, heating, cooling, roofing, masonry and a basic understanding of electric issues and machinery. You will be working with and managing the maintenance team, so you'll need to be organized, responsible and good team player.
Character and integrity is as important as your skills. You must be dependable, on time, answer phone/ texts promptly, be reachable for emergencies and available to work weekends and holidays during prime season. Days off will be midweek in summer/ fall.
On site lodging in a one bedroom dog friendly apartment is available for the right person.
