Are you a dependable, adaptable person who enjoys hands-on work in a team-oriented, mission-driven environment? The Converse Home, a non-profit assisted living community located in downtown Burlington, is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to help us keep our home safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for our residents.
What You’ll Do:
Perform light maintenance tasks and minor home repairs as assigned by the Maintenance Director
Assist with painting, refurbishing vacated apartments, and maintaining common areas
Help with seasonal grounds care including mowing, raking, and snow removal
Support flooring and basic facility upkeep
Participate in the on-call rotation (one week per month, paid)
What We’re Looking For:
Someone who is compassionate, patient, and enjoys working with seniors
A team player who’s flexible and ready to adapt to changing priorities
General maintenance experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and be on your feet for most of the day
