Walker Construction is seeking a well-rounded Mechanic to join our team. This full-time, year-round position offers steady, hands-on work with a wide range of equipment, including heavy equipment, large trucks, and passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities
-Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks, heavy equipment, and other vehicles
-Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
-Conduct inspections and identify potential problems before they become major issues
-Maintain accurate service and repair records
-Work efficiently with the team to ensure minimal equipment downtime
-Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe
Qualifications
-Proven experience as a mechanic; diesel and hydraulic experience required
-Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
-Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and scan tools
-Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
