Rugged Ridge Forest, a growing wood-fired, organic Maple Sugarbush, is looking for a well rounded sugarmaker, logger, and generally handy, well rounded, hardworking person.
We are wrapping up our logging season as we shift to maintaining the sugarwoods and processing our crop. As the summer begins, we have some on the farm construction projects to compliment bottling maple syrup, processing wood, continuing our logging when it is dry, and installing a new section of tubing to collect maple sap.
We are a good group of folks who genuinely love working in the woods. We take pride in working smart and hard as we accomplish herculean tasks as a team.
We are looking for someone with a good attitude and work ethic. Experience in the trades, logging, farming, operating heavyequipment, or working on a sugarbush all come in handy.
A lack of experience in one area could be compensated for by experience in another.
The breadth of tasks might be a nightmare for some, but to others variety is the spice of life that keeps us engaged in our work.
