Bellavance Trucking has two open positions for Diesel Technicians- one in Barre, VT, and the other in Milton, VT.

Responsibilities:
1. Understand, practice, and maintain proficiency in equipment diagnosis, regulatory compliance (inspections), and preventative maintenance on our own fleet of trucks, trailers and Owner Operators (575 pieces of equipment)
2. Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work and vehicle performance
3. Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
Job Requirements:
1. Experience in heavy truck and trailer maintenance and or refrigeration repair
2. Must have own basic tools
3. Possess CDL
4. Brake certification
5. State Inspection License
6. Able to always interact with drivers, customers, vendors, other employees in a professional and courteous manner
7. Assume responsibility and ownership of any project assigned (including its cleanup or other non-mechanical tasks assigned by supervisor)
8. Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures, especially in areas of safety
9. Have hands-on training, preferably have attended trade school
