Driver Needed Immediately!
Gadue's Dry Cleaning is hiring for a Relay Driver position. Our company operates with a fairly flat organizational structure, with owners and managers working side-by-side on most jobs with fellow employees. We are looking for a driver Tuesday – Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
End time may vary depending on production volume and delivery times
You must have a valid Vermont driver’s license, are a minimum of 25 years old (due to insurance reasons), and must pass a driver’s background verification with our insurance company.
Based out of our Colchester location - you would drive a transit van to and from our main production facility with orders to deliver to our retail stores & pick up orders / bags of laundry from stores to sort them at the production plant.
This is not a job where you just drive, it has a very physical aspect as well. Requires ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Lift orders on hangers in and out of van, stores & production plant.
Must be self-motivated, able to work independently as well as with directions from supervisors, paying attention to small details, and adapting to changing environments.
Pleasant and courteous behaviors will be expected towards fellow employees and customers. You will not work directly with clients – but they will be present in stores.
