We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks and will play a critical role in maintaining our clients’ financial systems and records. Create and update various spreadsheets to support financial reporting and data analysis.
Apply strong understanding of GAAP and GASB regulations to ensure compliance in all financial activities.
Utilize advanced accounting software and other technological tools to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Oversee the accounting system, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and payroll modules, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Make accurate and timely journal entries in the accounting system.
Handle the processing of cash receipts and generate invoices for clients and vendors.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Ensure proper accounting and documentation of grant expenditures as per the grant guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting or a related role.
Strong knowledge of government accounting standards (GASB).
High proficiency in technology and accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
