What You'll DoThe Information Security Communications Analyst is crucial in bolstering our organization's defense mechanisms by spearheading outreach and engagement initiatives. This role is central to formulating and deploying strategies that elevate awareness, comprehension, and active participation among all stakeholders—including employees and the wider community—regarding cybersecurity significance. You will be tasked with crafting and executing detailed communication plans aimed at reinforcing information security consciousness and adherence to best practices throughout Teradata. Utilizing a diverse array of communication mediums, including bite-sized learning modules, newsletters, whitepapers, emails, and social media, you will interact with both internal and external audiences. The goal is to advance information security understanding and foster a robust security-aware culture.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute an integrated information security communications strategy that aligns with the organization's security goals and initiatives.

Design and deliver engaging content and materials for various communication channels, including micro learnings, newsletters, emails, social media, and other digital platforms to promote information security awareness.

Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify communication needs and opportunities to reinforce information security best practices.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns and initiatives, leveraging feedback and analytics to continuously improve information security awareness programs.

Stay informed on the latest trends and developments in information security and communication technologies to innovate and enhance communication efforts.

Manage the information security awareness calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery to diverse audiences within the organization.

Conduct regular assessments of communication materials and strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field to ensure a solid foundation in the principles underpinning the role.

At least 5 years of professional experience in a communications role specifically within the fields of information security, cybersecurity, or related areas.

A track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies and campaigns that have successfully driven organizational change and enhanced stakeholder engagement in a technology or cybersecurity environment .

Commitment to teamwork and effective interaction with stakeholders at every organizational level.

The analytical acumen to assess the effectiveness of communication initiatives and the creativity to employ data in refining strategies.

Recognized certifications in the field such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), evidencing a commitment to maintaining expertise in cybersecurity.
