Description Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Mail and Deposit Processing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming checks and invoices received by mail. Your primary duties will include reviewing checks and invoices for any special instructions provided by customers, determining appropriate handling procedures, and ensuring accurate processing within daily and hourly deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Check and Invoice Processing:

Receive, open, and process incoming checks and invoices received by mail.

Review checks and invoices for special instructions provided by customers.

Determine and implement appropriate handling procedures based on customer requirements.

Mail Sorting:

Sort incoming mail to prioritize and streamline the processing workflow.

Categorize and organize documents for efficient handling and retrieval.

Deposit Ticket Preparation:

Prepare deposit tickets accurately and in a timely manner.

Meet daily and hourly deadlines to ensure prompt processing of financial transactions.

Information Reporting:

Prepare relevant information for input into the information reporting system.

Ensure data accuracy and completeness for seamless integration into the system.

Communication with Lockbox Customers:

Relay deposit information to lockbox customers via phone communication.

Address any queries or concerns to ensure individual account needs are met.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications is a plus.

Previous experience in mail and deposit processing or related financial roles is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet daily and hourly deadlines.

Effective communication skills for interacting with lockbox customers and internal team members.

Proficient in using relevant computer software and information reporting systems.
