Inside Sales Representative

OverviewThe Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and closing deals. This role involves providing excellent customer service, understanding client needs, and offering solutions that meet their requirements. Responsibilities

Direct selling inside the showroom to new and existing customers

Research the commercial foodservice marketplace through published lists, local sources, or through independent research for potential business opportunities, and telemarking as needed

Maintain the showroom as a high impact location to feature the appropriate merchandising relevant to the local customer base

Answer phones and complete sales orders

Maintain current knowledge of product and pricing on all inventory, and a design sense of how to create merchandising solutions that meet customer needs by utilizing current inventory

High quality organization skills focused on maintaining email databases, social media accounts, and sales materials

Maintain a professional sales appearanc

Collaborate positively with fellow team members and embrace teamwork mindset

Strong follow-up orientation to ensure successful implementation of the business initiatives

Work under time sensitive situations (time deadlines, delivery and pick-up schedules); able to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Computer proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher).

Proficient with PC applications/ POS systems

Strong administrative and organization skills.

Effective project management skills.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, personable, presentable, and articulate.
