Our ideal candidate will…… Essential Job ResponsibilitiesConducts research, design, development, and testing of electrical or mechanical hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, mechanical and electrical components. Ensures reliability, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications; may design new or modify existing products .Minimum Qualifications5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.Preferred Requirements Full lifecycle application development. Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis. Testing and quality assurance. Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. Support, maintain and document functionality. Integrate software with existing systems. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical test equipment and components. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Test experience with signal generators and spectrum analyzers.Physical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
