We are looking for a Technical Editor to join our team and support our Federal Government Customer. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to manage the lifecycle of technical policy documentation, ensuring that it is clear, concise, and consistent with complex technical standards and legal/regulatory requirements.Responsibilities: Determine the needs of users of technical documentationDevelop and refine processes to manage technical documentation throughout its lifecycleTrack and manage updates, revisions, and approvals from multiple sourcesCollect user feedback to update and improve contentReview and edit documents based on government standardsWrite or revise supporting content for productsDevelop and incorporate graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the materialStandardize content across platforms and mediaAnalyze documents to maintain continuityReady to take initiative to tackle tasks that need doing whether directly assigned or not
