The Role
  • Learn the company products and messaging
  • Leverage the tools necessary to be successful: Salesforce, ZoomInfo, scripts, etc.
  • Build relationships with the Sales and Customer Success counterparts
  • Develop strong relationships with federal systems integrators and value-added resellers to identify opportunities and build a long term pipeline
  • Manage pipeline of qualified programmatic opportunities that will provide significant value to customers
  • Create additional opportunities within new federal agencies
  • Document and present business development strategies with stakeholders within the company, in order to fine tune the company's approach to current and prospective clients
  • Bring on, manage and lead more business development personnel to expedite pipeline conversion of federal programmatic opportunities
  • Manage and direct the company's government activity at large industry conferences
  • Continuously build and maintain a pipeline of sales activity through creative pipelining and prospecting
  • Leverage industry and product knowledge with clients to maximize license value and drive business benefits
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with multiple stakeholders across the client organization
  • Provide insight to the customer requirements and acquisition processes, resulting in revenue
  • Work with the company to generate custom solution value propositions
  • Continue strengthening relationships with federal systems integrators and value-added resellers

The Background Profile
  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's and or Master's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Technology is a plus
  • Relevant education, certifications, and direct experience are a plus
  • 5-10 years of federal software business development or custom solution sales experience
  • Track record and history of consistent business development and pipeline conversion success
  • Outstanding presenter and communicator
  • Knowledgeable in the ever-changing technology space
  • Strong network of federal systems integrators and value-added resellers
  • Experienced with CRM software like Salesforce and Business Development outreach software solutions
  • Experienced working with and leveraging large partner organizations

The Compensation
  • $300,000 Total Compensation Package Including Base Salary + Competitive Performance-Based Bonus Structure
