5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
5+ years of technical engineering experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline required, or 8 years of equivalent work experience
Experience with AWS Database Services such as Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB and Amazon Database Migration Services
Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
Preferred Qualifications
Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s)
Experience (5+ years) in either designing or supporting the following technologies: MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle
Company or regional-level recognition in the area of specialization.
Ability to understand complex application data flows and bridge the gap between technical and business app requirements.
Advanced Degree (MS, PhD)
Bilingual (English/Spanish)

The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market.
