We are hiring an LINUX System and DevOps Engineer to help our team at the FDIC in Arlington or Fairfax. VA. The LINUX System and DevOps Engineer must be a US Citizen with good credit and no criminal background. This is for a multi year job and can either be W2 with full benefits or C2C on an hourly rate. Experience: 3 years The required skills are: Act as System Administrator for Red Hat (RHEL), CentOS, SUN, Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) environment, Windows. Write and debug shell (bash), python scripts, and leverage configuration management solutions (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt). Troubleshoot TCP/IP IPv4 environments and creating VM templates. Demonstrated experience across several of the following areas: i. Ansible deployment automation of software, upgrades, and Linux configuration ii. Scripting (bash, perl, python) iii. Datacenter & equipment management (inventory, organization, copper & fiber cabling) iv. Large-scale system configuration management, network services (DNS, DHCP, SNMP) v. Source code management (git, subversion, Jira) vi. Server virtualization (VMware vSphere Oracle OVM) vii. Documentation management (Confluence, SharePoint, ADMS) viii. Linux/Unix Patch Management ix. Middleware support x. Security hardening guides & tools (DISA STIGs, SCAP, ACAS (Tenable/Nessus), HBSS). xi. Storage Networking (FC, iSCSI, FCoE) xii. Backup Administration (Netbackup, CommVault xiii.
