Job Description:


Our client is looking to hire a device deployment specialist to provision and prepare laptops and desktops for their staff. This position is also responsible for asset retrieval and maintaining asset inventory within ServiceNow and the physical inventory onsite.


Responsibilities:
  • Provision and prepare Microsoft Surface and Dell laptops for staff in the County by fulfilling ServiceNow tickets.
  • Provision and prepare Dell desktops for staff in the County by fulfilling ServiceNow tickets.
  • Retrieve and receive returned assets and process them through ServiceNow.
  • Manage stock room inventory so that specific devices can be identified wherever they are in the county.
  • Route and escalate tickets to appropriate support teams, if necessary.
  • Work as a team to accomplish goals for the day, week and month.
Assist the Technology Solution Center as needed with their questions about device provisioning.
  • Assist staff who come to the office to pick up their devices with setting up multi-factor authentication and ensuring the right applications have been loaded on their device.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates, supervisors and staff.
  • Provide technical information/assistance on configuration, setup, maintenance and initial troubleshooting of client’s standard computer systems
  • Provide best effort support for technical information/assistance on non-standard computer systems, hardware and software
The client operates primarily in a Windows environment and Office 365 with a combination of Laptops, Desktops, and Mobile Devices. Capabilities must include wireless and remote troubleshooting, superior customer service skills, and excellent communications skills.

Mandatory Skills:
  • Must be a High School Graduate or equivalent
  • CompTIA A+, Security + or Network + certification
  • HDI Certification a plus
  • ITIL Foundation a plus
