Horse Farm seeks to add a few unique team members for part time (or full time) opportunities. There are several shifts available with horse care tasks. Morning Shift, 3 to 4 hours starting at 7:30 am; Afternoon Shift 3:30 pm to 5:30/6ish. The horses receive care 7 days a week, and care team works a flexible schedule. If you have schedule restrictions (like attending class) we will work around it.
Horse Care Team is responsible for various horse and barn care including feeding/watering/hay, stall cleaning and re-bedding, turn in and turn out of horses, light vet care, rinsing horses off, blanketing, sweeping and assorted other tasks from time to time. Willing to train you
Ideal candidates will love horses and if interested in a full time job (that is a possibility!) also have horse handling skills including grooming, saddling, longeing. While this is not primarily a riding experience it is possible that riding can be offered.
Advantage Ranch prepares horses and riders for National and World level competitions and creates all-rounders (Western/Hunt Seat/Halter and Ranch; Showmanship/Horsemanship/Equitation/Reining) Our horses receive excellent care. For all positions: Demonstrated ability to follow directions. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Team player :) Good communication and trustworthy is a must. Current driver's license and a clean background check. Tobacco Free environment.
