Job Description: Oversees management, sales and warehouse staff to help them excel in achieving operational, financial, administrative, volunteer, customer and donor goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Advancement of the HFHINRV mission to expand access to affordable housing in the NRV.

2. Revenue generation, fiscal planning and management including expense control.

3. Risk management assessments and solutions.

4. Work with the affiliate marketing team to develop marketing and public relations campaigns for increasing donations and sales.

5. General oversight of store operations and employee/ volunteer management in coordination with other team supervisors.

6. Daily sales/cash register reconciliation and deposits.

7. Maintain strict safety policies. Conduct daily safety inspections to ensure all areas of the store and warehouse are clean and safe. Ensure all staff, volunteers and Community Service personnel are educated in safety practices.

8. Oversee the effective merchandising of the sales floor, maximizing available display space and aesthetic appeal. Use inventory control and effective pricing strategies to maximize the value of the merchandise and ensure appropriate turnover.

9. Work with processing team to ensure that all donations are cleaned, tested, researched and priced before going to the sales floor. Assist warehouse staff as needed to maintain orderly flow of merchandise; ensure that storage space is being used optimally.

10. Work to implement, maintain and update policies and procedures as needed.

11. Achieve excellent customer, donor and volunteer ratings. The ReStore exists because of our customers, donors and volunteers so the General Manager will set an example of and maintain a high standard of service and integrity to these groups.

12. Work to build donations and donor base through positive relationships, donor outreach and procurement.

10. Makes safety a priority for every customer, donor, volunteer and employee. Ensures that all areas of the ReStore are accident-free zones.

Skills & Qualifications

1. 5+ years of executive/senior retail management experience.

2. Revenue generator and a team leader able to build both customer and donor base.

3. Self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic. Enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds.

4. Ability to handle and defuse challenging situations with tact. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

5. Commitment to safe working environment.

6. Ability to provide leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers while also having the ability to perform most tasks in the absence of staff or volunteers.

7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand up to eight hours a day.

8. Computer knowledgeable; including Microsoft Office suite, the Square, or willingness and capability to learn and use these programs.

9. Dedication to and ability to articulate the mission of the Habitat for Humanity of the NRV.
