The Challenge:

As a DevOps engineer on our team, you'll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best - innovate. You'll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like agile development, chaos engineering, cloud-based development, and serverless while developing software that will improve national security. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

• 
  5+ years of experience with developing CI/CD DevOps pipelines
  
• 
  3+ years of experience with writing scripts in languages, including Python or Bash
  
• 
  3+ years of experience with automation and testing software suites, including Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Selenium, or JUnit
  
• 
  3+ years of experience with containers and container orchestration platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes
  
• 
  Experience with designing, developing, deploying, and testing in the AWS ecosystem or similar Cloud provider
  
• 
  Experience with GIT or similar configuration management (CM) repository
  
• 
  Top Secret clearance
  
• 
  BA or BS degree
  
• 
  Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
  

Nice If You Have:

• 
  Experience with designing, building, and implementing automation tools, including Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  
• 
  Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Cloud Formations or Terraform
  
• 
  Experience with container platforms, including OpenShift
  
• 
  Experience with chaos engineering and blue or green deployments
  
• 
  Experience with Serverless, including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and SAM
  
• 
  Experience with application performance analysis and monitoring, including ELK
  
• 
  Experience with an Agile release methodology
  
• 
  MA or MS degree preferred
  
• 
  AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer
  
• 
  Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
  

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
