Manages the recruiting efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels for the organization with a focus on donated goods retail and business services and ensures revenue generation to support mission services.
Under the supervision of the Director of HR, the Recruiter will have hands on management of the full cycle recruitment process across full spectrum of hires, may include screening, interviewing, facilitation of post interview processing, and post-offer candidate management.· Provide complete leadership, advice and training guidance for hiring managers on recruitment practice, applicant screening and interviewing techniques.· Works closely with the Director of HR to explore viability of non-traditional recruitment methods and innovative attraction & resourcing techniques.· Develops and maintains partnerships and relationships with outside agencies that assist GIKV in job posting efforts.· Maintains job positing and advertising initiatives. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the organization’s web-based recruiting software and applicant tracking database.· Coordinates New Employee Orientation and provides instructions and confirms attendance for new hires along with printing new hire badges.· Participates and helps conduct local job fairs when applicable.· Works closely with the Director of HR to ensure alignment of all recruiting relatable SOPs involving the hiring and onboarding of GIKV team members.· Connect new employees to GIKV by providing orientation to incoming employees to familiarize them with the company’s mission, vision and values.· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.· Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or HR related field preferred. One to three years related experience and/or training that include HR function; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Beginning salary starts at $40,000 - $45,000.00 annual.
