We’re seeking childcare assistance for our family. My wife, Sarah, and I reside in Albemarle County with our 3-year-old son and 18-month-old daughter.
Primarily, we are looking for someone to help out on evenings and weekends. Our son has a genetic micro deletion that does not affect him medically, but has resulted in delayed speech and physical skills.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced part-time nanny to help us some evenings and either Saturday or Sunday. (Approximately 16-20hrs per week) The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our child, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their basic needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and loving care for our kids.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, playing, and outdoor exploration
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks as needed
- Change diapers
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding our child's progress and needs.
Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification
-Drivers license with clean abstract
- Reliable transportation to and from our home
- Must be comfortable with pets (we have a friendly dog)
-Basic meal preparation skills.
Schedule:
- 2-3 evenings a week and either Saturday or Sunday (exact days and times to be determined and agreed too)
Salary:
$25 / hr
