We are looking for an asst. events coordinator to join our tavola team to boost and drive the event sales and assist GM with coordinating/communicating between all parties involved in our expanding in house private dining program. Your role will be integral to creating new client relationships, assisting with responsibilities to boost sales efforts along with overseeing and planning for the private dining bookings. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual looking to gain experience in the event industry. This could either PT or FT position.
Responsibilities to include:
Help plan, organize and assist with execution of events including communication with clients, handling contracts, creating
Private Event Orders, communication with internal departments and assist with on site events.
Work cohesively with GM/Chefs to ensure successful execution of events.
Maintain accurate and up to date correspondence of private dining bookings, contracts, and client information.
Requirements to include:
2-3 years of experience customer service experience (hospitality preferred)
Computer literacy
Familiarity with restaurant management software
Experience in event planning
Team player
Good time-management skills
Wine knowledge would be a plus.
